An estimated 45% of Palm Springs residents are believed to be gay or lesbian, and nearby communities like Cathedral City, Palm Desert and others have large LGBT populations. The region has many LGBT elected officials.
It’s a very accepting community, with lots of gay residents and tourists, and a vibrant nightlife and culture dating back many decades and modernized today with new restaurants, bars, museums, concert venues and more!
